This hat got so much attention as a custom cap, that we decided to add it as a regular in-line cap! This is a premium quality, wool blend, flex fit baseball style cap hat, honoring the men of the 1st Minnesota Volunteer Infantry and their near incredible charge at Gettysburg. The hat features the famous Civil War Infantry hunters horn insignia in detailed puff style embroidery (the type found on professional baseball caps). And has 1st Minnesota Vol. Infantry embroidered on the rear hat band along with To The Last Man, which is a tribute to the desperately brave and costly nature of the charge that may have indeed saved the Union. The cap is designed to be modern representation of the famous Kepi worn by most United States Army Infantry Regulars and Volunteer Militia during our Civil War.

1st Minnesota is the 3rd cap in our Americanization program, where all finish embroidery is done here in the United States.

Sizing Information: Three sizes S/M, L/XL, and XXL

Flex fitted hats fit a range of head sizes, and come in three sizes.

S/M (Small through Medium). So a S/M cap would fit heads with measurements of 21 inches to 22 1/2 inches, or hat sizes 6-3/4 to 7-1/4.

L/XL (Large through Extra Large) hat would fit measurements just over 22 1/2 up to 24 inches, or hat size 7-1/4to 7=5/8.

The XXL size would fit hat sizes 7-5/8 and larger.

The most reliable way of sizing is to measure with a tape. There is crossover at the 7-1/4 size. A person with a 7-1/4 head size could wear either a Sm/Med or an L/XL, with the Sm/Med fitting just a little bit more snug.
