J.E.B. Stuart. The Virginia Cavalier. Amongst a Confederate Cavalry Corps that featured numerous names that will always be associated with horse Cavalry, Stuart will always be at the top. Growing from a brigade in 1861, to a division in 1863, to a full corps of 2 divisions in 1864, it is no coincidence that Robert E. Lee’s son Rooney will serve as a junior officer under Stuart.
The features the famous cavalry crossed sabers insignia in detailed puff style embroidery (the type found on professional baseball caps) in metallic gold, on a dark charcoal grey cap. The cap has J.E.B. Stuart’s Virginia Cavalry Corps embroidered on the rear hat band in a historically accurate cavalry yellow.
