John Bell Hood and his Texans. Hood’s Texas Brigade fought in every major engagement in the Eastern theatre, and were widely known as Lee’s shock troops. Lee himself said, “the Texans never fail to move them” This is a premium quality, wool blend, flex fit baseball cap. The hat features the famous Civil War Infantry hunters horn insignia in detailed puff style embroidery (the type found on professional baseball caps) in gold metallic on a charcoal grey wool cap.  The cap has HOOD’S TEXAS BRIGADE embroidered on the rear hat band in a period correct infantry blue, and the TEXAS BRIGADES famous star on the side panel.

Sizing Information: Two sizes S/M and L/XL. Flex fit hats fit a range of sizes, such as S/M (Small through Medium) and L/XL (Large through X-Large) So a S/M hat would fit heads with measurements of 21 inches to 22 1/2 inches, or hat sizes 6-3/4 to 7-1/4. A L/XL (Large through Extra Large) hat would fit measurements just over 22 1/2 up to 24 inches, or hat size 7-3/8 to 7=5/8. The most reliable way of sizing is to measure with a tape.
